Hi, I am Guy Powell, a Brighton based graphic designer with over 15 years experience.

I believe in working in close partnership with my clients in order to fully understand their unique personalities, specialities and business goals. It is through this understanding that all design decisions are shaped – with my focus firmly fixed on producing beautiful, compelling design that speaks clearly to the end-customer.

I gained invaluable experience as a young designer at design agencies Victoria Real and Epic, working on early forays into Web, Mobile and Interactive TV. Notable projects included the launch of BMW’s new Mini and the original Big Brother website, where for the first time you could live stream the goings-on inside ‘the house’ 24hrs a day. It was a big hit and the server crashed…

During those formative years I learnt the complexities (and importance) of carrying a brand and it’s essential messaging across multiple platforms through consistent, compelling design.

Since then I have been running GP studio, where together with a group of talented developers, designers and illustrators, I enjoy providing the same thoughtful strategic process, care and attention to smaller businesses and brands.

Together we love working on branding, print and digital projects (web, mobile and social too) – encouraging boldness and simplicity through beautiful design.

We would love to find out more about what you do and to discuss how we can help. Please contact us
